23 Fun Beach Crafts for Kids

These beach crafts for kids are fun and easy. They are the perfect thing for you to do with little ones either at the beach or while waiting for your next beach trip to arrive!
I always look forward to summer beach trips, and of course, so do my little ones! I bet that your kids are the same way, which is why I have created this list of fun beach crafts for kiddos.

1. Popsicle Tissue Paper Craft

Do your kids love a delicious popsicle to cool down after a dip in the ocean? My little ones do too!
This popsicle craft is sure to get them in the mood for a tasty beach treat. It turns out super cute and colorful and will let your little one’s creativity shine because they can decorate it however they want!
2. DIY Paper Jellyfish

I adore these sweet paper jellyfish. Your kids will love painting them and assembling their construction paper chain tentacles.
They are made with basic supplies including paper, watercolors (I love this set because it comes with paintbrushes), googly eyes, and a glue stick. These turn out adorable and look great hung on walls or windows!
3. Paper Watermelon

There is nothing I love more than a delicious watermelon at the beach. These paper plate watermelons are cute, easy and fast to make, and can be used as a fan on a hot day!
4. Yarn Turtle

Making yarn turtles (or yarn sea turtles) is a great way to welcome beach season! These turn out cute and fluffy, so kiddos are sure to enjoy playing with them.
Very little children might need help wrapping and cutting the yarn. If you need some yarn for this project, you could get this!
5. Fish Craft

This fish craft is fun to do with kids at home, at summer camp, or in a classroom. It provides opportunities to learn about things like shapes and the different body parts of a fish.
Decorating these fish will give kids a chance to unleash their creativity. Keep in mind that these fish are small and cute so mini pom poms like these will work best!

You won’t believe how fast this fun slime comes together. You only need about 10 minutes to make it, but I’m certain that your kids will play with it for hours!

If your kids have been dreaming about a beach day, this fun and easy beach jar is the perfect project for you! With some sand, beach-themed stickers like this, seashells, and cocktail umbrellas, they can make their own pretty beach in a jar!
You can display it on your mantle or on your kiddo’s nightstand so that the whole family can enjoy a taste of the beach whenever they want!
