How to Make DIY Beaded Mini Painting
Step 1. Let’s start by painting your canvas surface. I used yellow, but you can use whatever color you would like!
Let your canvas dry. You can use a hair dryer to speed up the process or you can let it air dry.
Step 2. When your canvas is dry, you can add your shapes. Then, let it dry again.

Step 3. Now, it’s time to start beading! To start, create a pretty line made from a few short sections of threaded beads.
Do this by threading your needle.
Step 4. Now, insert the threaded needle into the back of your canvas and then pull it through to the front. Then, string a few beads onto your thread, so that they sit nicely on your canvas.

Step 5. Next, insert your needle where your beaded line ends, pulling it from the front of your canvas to the back of your canvas and then through to the front again.
Add some more beads. Repeat this process of adding beads to your painting in sections until you like what you have.
When you are done, cut the thread at the back of the canvas and tie a double knot.
If you prefer, you can also make a beaded line on your canvas without sections by threading all the beads onto your canvas at the same time and pulling the needle from the front to the back of the canvas and tying it once you are done.
Step 6. Now, it’s time to outline our circle using a few beaded sections. To start, pull your thread from the back to the front of your canvas so that it falls somewhere on the outline of your circle.
Add a few beads to your thread and let them fall onto the painting.

Step 7. Now, insert your needle into the front of the canvas to the back and then pull it through to the front again. Add a few more beads to create another section.
Step 8. Continue the process of inserting your needle from the front to the back of your canvas and back through the front again.

Step 9. Keep adding beads in sections as you go along.
Step 10. When you are done with this part, your entire circle will be outlined with beads.

Step 11. This picture shows how you can add just one big bead somewhere on your painting.
Step 12. You can make a little beaded circle within one of your shapes. To do this, pull your needle from the back to the front of the canvas and add beads.

Step 13. Then, pull the needle back through the first hole you made to close the circle.
Step 14. You can get creative as you decorate your painting with beads. Adding a few big beads to one of your shapes looks beautiful!

Step 15. You can add as many beads as you would like to your painting.
Step 16. Keep beading until you like what you have!

Step 17. I have added spots to my canvas with marker for a little something extra. You can add dots, lines, spots, or any other designs that you want, or you can skip this step.
Step 18. Your beaded painting is finished!

How Long Does This DIY Beaded Mini Painting Take to Make?
This art project turns out so stunning, but it doesn’t take that much time to make at all! Painting and drying your canvas will take about an hour if you use a hair dryer.
Keep in mind that if you are letting your canvas air dry, this step will take a few hours. Adding your beads and finishing touches will take only about 30 minutes!
