Instructions

  • To start, let’s make the worm’s head. Add some pillow stuffing inside the opening of the sock.
  • Use your hands to form the stuffed part of the sock into a round ball and secure it by tying your elastic around it.
  • When you are done making your head, you should have a stuffed ball at the top of your sock and the rest should be flat, as shown.
  • Continue to make the rest of our worm’s body by adding more stuffed balls all the way down the sock. To start, add some more stuffing and push it up so that it is below the round head.
Form it into a ball shape using your hands and secure it with an elastic.
  • Continue creating more balls in the same way.
The amount of balls that you will need to make depends on how large your sock is.
  • Now, get one of your pipe cleaners and cut it into 5 pieces.
  • Wrap each piece around one of the elastics to conceal the elastic. Secure it by twisting the ends.
  • Leave the first elastic (the one securing the head) uncovered.
  • Now, get your second long pipe cleaner and wrap it over the head elastic and then twist it a few times so that the elastic is covered.
Begin to roll one end of the pipe cleaner into a spiral shape.
  • Do the same with the other end of the pipe cleaner (on the other side) as shown.
  • Now, get your glue gun and use it to attach a pom pom to the spiral part one of the antennae.
  • Add another pom pom to the other spiral shape.
  • Use your glue gun to attach one of the googly eyes.
  • Now, attach the other eye. Your no sew sock worm is complete!
