Tear off a piece of clay.
Use your hands to soften the clay and roll it out. It should be about 5mm thickness.
Cut out shapes using your cookie cutters and smooth out the edges.
Fix cracks by dipping your finger in water and brushing the cracks out.
You can also cut out shapes using an X-acto knife.
To join two pieces, make small irregular cuts on both pieces, moisten them with water, and press them together.Then, use your finger as a tool to smooth out the joining line so that the two pieces fit seamlessly together. This shows how to attach the different parts of the strawberry together.
When you connect the two pieces together using your finger to smooth out the joining line, it will look like one piece.
You can use a special tool to make indentations in the clay.
It is also fun to add letters to your magnets using stamps.

You can customize your magnets any way you want!
Let the clay dry.
Once your magnets are completely dry, you can paint them.
Paint each one and let them dry.
You can add faces, play with color, and decorate your magnets however you want.
If you want your magnets to be shiny, you can coat them with a thin layer of varnish or mod podge. Let them dry.
Glue magnets to the back of your clay pieces.
