Let’s start with the rice-filled stress ball. First, blow a balloon a few times to inflate it a little bit.
Next, stretch the tip of the balloon over the end of the funnel.
Now, add some rice to the funnel so that it starts falling into the balloon.Add as much rice as will fit into the balloon.
Remove the balloon from the funnel and squeeze it to deflate. Tie a knot.Your first ball is ready!
To make the second ball, repeat the first couple of steps. Blow a balloon a little bit and stretch the tip over the end of the funnel.
Now, add your plastic beads to the funnel.
The beads should fall straight into the balloon. You can help push them in using a pen or a stick.
Remove the balloon from the funnel and tie a knot. Your second ball is complete!
To make the third ball, use your funnel to add cornstarch to the plastic water bottle.
Then, blow up the balloon and twist the end as shown to keep the air in.
Stretch the tip over water bottle.
The tip should sit perfectly over the top of the water bottle, as shown.
Turn the water bottle upside down and shake the bottle so that the cornstarch falls into the balloon.
Squeeze to remove the excess air from the balloon. Be sure to do this slowly to avoid spilling the cornstarch. Now, tie a knot and enjoy using your stress balls!
Notes
*I just cut the funnel out of the water bottle because a water bottle funnel has a wider pipe than a kitchen funnel, which works better for this project.
