Instructions

  • Gather your materials. Make your balloon by tracing a balloon shape onto the paper sheet.
    Cut your balloon out.
  • Decorate your balloon. Start with the pom poms.
Glue the pom poms onto your balloon. You can glue them in whatever pattern you would like.
  • Let’s keep decorating. Glue your paper hearts (or stickers or whatever decorative paper/stickers you are using) to your balloon.
  • This part is optional. Using a white pen, I have drawn little flowers and small dots to add a little bit more to the design.
You can add whatever patterns or drawings you would like.
  • Now, let’s put together our balloon basket. Tear off the top layer of your cardboard.
  • Attach your two popsicle sticks to the back of your cardboard piece with glue.
  • Now, add some glue to the tops of your sticks and place your balloons on top of the sticks.
  • Your cute hot air balloon is complete! How adorable!
